I know Chelsea have an abundance of riches within their youth set up, but if this lad was the 'real deal' there is no way they would allow LFC to take him off them. That's how I'd see it anyway.

He rufused to sign a new contract at chelsea. He was voted best young player of the season and chelsea fans love him. He's meant to be the real deal for the future.

I think he needed another season at least to develop actually, instead of being thrust straight into the first team when Liverpool bought Southampton.

I do rate him very highly, but I also think Ross Barkley is a player, so I'm clearly delusional.
