Blue Wiz

Player Valuation: £25m
With Yak and Fernandes coming into the squad I'm actually impressed by our moves on the transfermarket this summer.

INS:

GK: Wessel
D: Jags, Baines
M: Pienaar, Fernandes
F: Yak, Lucas

Out:

GK: Wright
D: Naysmith, Pistone
M:
S: BT

Looks really interesting to me. Just get the paperwork done for both wannabies and being on Europe! (y)

All the players EVERYONE wanted to get rid of, all replaced with younger better versions.

SUPERB!

Does anyone remeber the thread at the start of the summer were alot of people said we should blow our transfer budget on fernandes! well we go thim and four other i would describe quality players who no doubht improve the sqaud as a whole.

Its gotta be said the club played a blinder this summer not only in money spent, but the fact that no one knew how much we were willing to spend. lets face it us fans, the media, and other clubs never thought we had anywhere near 25 million to spend. In a market that was marked by new foregin ownership investment and television moneey driving up prices, the club did a brilliant job of cloak and dagger, by making the entire world think we dont have a pot to piss in. i bet Sheff United and wigan are kicking themselves that they allowed us to haggle over the fees for Jags and Baines. The following week pulling 20 odd million out of the hat to sgn Yak and Manny.

Its gotta be said well played to Moyesey and the Club. Class.

I seem to recall Wyness saying that there will be new faces coming in, this was a while ago and before Moyes won th EuroMillions.

I suspect to be fair that our normal budget did extend to a Fernandes type signing and the others have been signed on credit.

All our transfers are on credit. 99% of all transfers anywhere are on credit. No one pays up front cash unless you are Newcastle and wanting Rooney. Premier rules state the timelines on transfers and this means A third upfront, a third after 12 months and the rest 18 months.

Credit where it is due. EFC have paid all that money out because there has been a contract drawn up to pay. Credit or not well done moyes, kenwright and Bully!!!
