Could I also suggest the introduction of a caption thread judged as follows, place it on line for five days, Danny and Dylan select the best five entires then we vote over the next two days (weekend). Prizes on offer, v/bet credits.

Are you there for the Prologue and Stage 1?

Stage 1 goes down through Kent doesn't it? Not sure where the best place to view a stage race would be, you'd need somewhere high or they'd go fast so bloody quick. At least with the prologue it's a TT so you get a regular flow of riders.

Aye, I'm hoping to get some decent shots for my photography of the prologue. The first stage starts in London I think and goes down through Kent finishing in Canterbury

Watched the Giro yesterday, the speed they go at is quite something. I did a 100km TT a few weekends ago in around 4 hours. They did 180km in around the same time. Incredible.

I do time trials against guys with bikes half as heavy as mine and they don't go that fast

Although having said that I listened to an interesting interview yesterday with Greg LeMond about the doping on tour. I suspect that helps a touch too.
