I thought he came on leaps and bounds aerially last season personally.

..he was dreadful in last summers England tournament and then made a bit of a howler at Man City after playing outstandingly well against Sane. I’m sure it’s something he’s working on and he will improve when he bulks up with age.

Linked with this lad in Jan I think?

CHERRIES MEDICAL FOR £12M BROOKS

Wales international David Brooks is due to undergo a medical tomorrow after Bournemouth agreed an £12m deal with Sheffield United, Sky Sports News understands.
The 20-year old has three caps for Wales after making his international debut in November 2017. He's scored three goals in 30 appearances for Sheffield United.

Yeh but overall thought he was miles better. Got a good leap on him - wouldn't be shocked to see him starting vs Wolves.

Getting jogged on by everybody us like.

Two schools of thought here, aren’t there?

Teams who like to press from the front often results in opposition teams playing more long balls than usual. Therefore, an ideal pairing of someone with aerial dominance for the first ball, with a pacey, agile player on the cover should be preferred.

Not sure we have any of the above in our squad at the moment!

...the pace and mobility across the back four does help you defend higher up the pitch. At the moment we have to defend deep because our CBs are vulnerable to the space behind.

..I suspect Galloway and Browning are getting beyond youth team age. I’d be very surprised if they are ahead of Gibson in the pecking order and will be given away if possible.
Either way we're talking 5th choice and below regarding those players, I only meant youth players are available for backup after new CB, Keane, Jags and Holgate, I can live with that going into next season.

If last summer taught us one thing is that it isn’t how many you buy or when you buy them that matters it is who you buy.
