He'd never come here anyway but, yeah, we've got to stop appointing divisive coaches. I would say three of the last four have carried too much baggage on day 1 and the other one was too inexperienced and was recruited on the basis of his playing career.

Let me get this right, Moyes is a poor manager, and has done a bad job, yet the same fans believe we are in a position where can now attract Champions League managers. How does that work exactly.

If Howe gets sacked by Newcastle, not unthinkable imo, there's absolutely no reason he wouldn't take the Everton job. He's unlikely to get a shot at one of the very top jobs. If he stays in post at Newcastle that's a different story.
