Succession Planning - Managerial Wishlist

After a week of rough results, discussion on here suggests that a fair number of people would be happy enough to see the back of Moyes at the end of this season.

This poses a question - If TFG feel the same way, who are they tapping up to take over in summer?

Suggestions below. If thread gets enough replies will add a poll with the most popular choices.

but suggestions of fans isn’t what TFG go off

ok i want simeone

Tbf his stock was at his lowest after being relegated and Newcastle were desperate because they needed to get rid of steve bruce
And when his Arabian Overlords bin him at the end of the season for failing to get into Europe, despite their spending, he will be looking for another team.
We are probably around the level he could hope to get.

Can’t see Glasner being interested mate, he’s already disillusioned at Palace because of having to sell their best players etc. it wouldn’t be much different with us.
I'm not sure about that.

At this point in time we don't know if TFG are here to provide ongoing investment in the playing staff to bring success or they have other motives.

I'd wager that he would be far better supported financially by Everton than Palace

I agree with some sentiments upthread. We maybe ought to swerve Premiership managers and dig out a cultured young manager who's played and/or coached at a quality level abroad. Most of the club imo seems to be filled with sycophants who idolise the Dogs of War mentality as the pinnacle of football, and that covering each others asses is a virtue. Not that I think there is no place for the Dogs/T.Butcher English spirit, we need a synthesis and a better understanding of training and tactics.
I would keep Baines on as an understudy though if he's showing promise. But I wouldn't stop short of getting rid of the two commentators from Saturday's game.

Oh yeah agree mate, money talks. Just get the feeling though with Glasner it’s all about the footy with him and building to be successful. Maybe our mate @Alan Whittle could fill us in.
Glasner should not be disillusioned with selling our best players. It was our established model long before he joined us. He has helped enhance the system pretty successfully. The bit to add onto selling our best players is recruiting good replacements, which we also have a record of.
If he goes he will go to a club where he can have a lot of control and influence and there is the basis of a squad that can play his way, principally players that are completely switched on without the ball, energetic and quick in the press and quick on the counter.
