Andoni's stock his high and I'd be surprised if he hasn't got a huge queue of suitors.
Sorta feel like an Everton type job is a logical step for him. Historically big club, more expectations than Bournemouth, and a rebuild job.
Football management isn't like other careers though, they often skip a step and go to the biggest offer in town. See Potter, Lampard, Gerrard, Arteta etc.
Get the impression this guy is for more astute than the middle two, but still, it wouldn't surprise me to see him somewhere with more pressure somewhere across europe.
I suppose it comes down to options. We got Carlo back in the day because he was in a late-career slump and had fallen, temporarily, out of fashion. His options were limited and he intended to keep working, rather than take a break. Iraola's options are very limited in England. If Man City go for Maresca, and Slot stays at Liverpool, then where is he going?
I can't believe Liverpool would allow Alonso to slip away and then sack Slot. If that happens, they are in a bigger mess than anyone imagined. United have stuck with Carrick. Spurs will surely stick with De Zerbi once they stay up today - and will hardly be that attractive in the Championship. Actually, if Iraola was to go down to the Championship with a rebuilding Spurs, I'm not convinced he really backs himself anyway. That would be taking the easy option and wasting a year.
Will Eddie Howe stay at Newcastle? Are they even more attractive than us?
So, I don't think Iraola or Glasner have too many Premier League options. Does Glasner fancy a return to the Bundesliga? Iraola appears to have missed out on Athletic Bilbao, for one reason or another.
Basically, if Everton are genuinely in the market for a new manager, the top picks have limited options - especially if they wish to remain in England, where the big money is.
