Moyes was saying what needed to be said, especially in light of the bollocks spouted by Rodgers, he was merely countering the transparent, 'give us a pen Andre we're due one', with a timely reminder of the facts i.e. that we get nothing in this fixture & had a diabolical decision given against us last time out at Goodison & that rat face's cheating lead to it.

Marriner is a shiite referee, who simply doesn't understand the game imo, I fully expect him to make a dogs arse of at least one major decision, I just hope that for once we might be the beneficiaries.

In fact do you reckon the ref sees or hears about managers pre match waffle? Thinking about it they probably don't.

I think that's exactly why he's said it. It'll be in the sports section of all the papers and possibly on the tv too, so I imagine the ref will see it and it can only play on his mind. It wouldn't surprise me at all if Suarez has a genuine penalty shout tomorrow but the ref doesn't give it because he's wary of being fooled by a dive.

This reminds me of Wenger's comments on AJ a few years ago, and after those, he got nothing again all season, in fact the team got nothing again all season and Moyes sent a DVD of penalties we should have had to the head ref.

Hopefully it'll have the same effect on them starting tomorrow

If AJ had played for Sky teams, he would have got some of those decisions surely. So I feel the ref will not just take into account who the player is.

Referees have given the RS the more favourable decisions in derbies. So I put two and two together....

Jelavic will get carded, Swarez a penalty.
