That is your opinion but my opinion is he has sured up the midfield significantly

I think we have one of the least creative, most boring midfields you'll ever see. We are a boring side, absolutely nothing about us in possession. In fact they don't even want the ball.

I was considering this. Maupay and Dominic Calvert-Lewin together could work well, with a tricky player on the floor and a classic 9.

What the 4 would be, I don't know.

Our wingers have been inconsistent to be kind.

Maybe a 4-2-3-1, with Gueye and Onana, then Iwobi with two wingers or midfielders, then Dominic Calvert-Lewin? That would work better with Patterson (altho everything would work better with Patterson)

As someone said......dump the wingers as they are not very good. Try 2 up top but keep the midfield strong with Iwobi pushing forward
