Stop Trying to be Edgy

So many of our supporters are boring and negative and just can't wait for a reason to moan.

They don't want to suffer the journey. They want immediate consistency and trophies from Carlo.

Last night was really disappointing but we have important players to come soon back that will make a big difference.

We will also see a lot of the dross leave this summer at the latest and some further signings supported by Carlo.
Brands said it will be 2 or 3 years before we are challenging the top 4, by which time the dross will be sold and replaced with better players, we are doing ok.

Yep, its a process, sadly a long process.

Mistakes will have be made, but Rome wasn't built in a day.

Not even City got it right after 2 years, despite them being able to throw every penny at it.

I wonder before the season started if we had put a poll out that on the 2nd of january. Just shy of half the season, would you think 4 points off the top of the table is acceptable? Im guessing it would have come back 99% yes
The 1% being gwladysbluetit.

Proper Moyesball wasn’t it. Defended very well and kept a good shape all game. The kind of tactic we deployed against Chelsea.

I dont think it was similar tbh as we had to actually defend against Chelsea whereas West Ham had to do nothing apart from Ogbonna clearing a few set pieces into the box.

We were abysmal and looked hungover.

Did we? We limited them to hopeful pop shots and Keane cleared everything that came into the box the same as Ogbonna. They didn’t look any more like scoring than we did yesterday, it just felt like a close game because as an Everton fan, you’re expecting us to concede every time the opposition have the ball.

That’s not to say we played well yesterday, but West Ham stuck to their plan and didn’t allow us anything in the final third.
