Still a good start?

We were superb last night, one of the best team performances in a long time, to blame Neville is daft, he was nothing to do with the goals conceeded, that was an uncharacteristic mixture of our 2 CB's and some very poor goal keeping. Can't blame the result on Neville either, that was the result of some very predictable poor officiating decisions.
We were robbed but we played superbly. Hope Moyes doesn't revert to plan B which would be the old sit back and defend.
Neville should have been protecting the back four but instead was lost .
He has been a great player for us but should never play cm again

Team that should start on Sat

Howard
Coleman Heitinga Distin Baines
Fellaini Osman
Mirallas Naismith Pienaar
Jelavic

Osman only gets in as per Gibson's injury, but Moyes will go with the same starting 11

would love to see that one day. I'm not 100% convinced by Coleman but he needs to be given a chance. I thought he was pretty good in pre season

What has Hibbert done to be dropped? Apart from the West Brom game where everyone had a stinker Hibbert has been very very solid.

Im not saying he had a bad game, in fact defensively he was pretty solid, I just think Coleman could link up better with Mirallas and provide a very attacking right hand side

I'm sure he would, but there was a couple of times last night where Mirallas left Hibbert exposed by not tracking back and fortunately Hibbert dealt with it. I don't think Coleman would cope as well defensively with Mirallas in front of him.

right now coleman shouldn't get in front of hibbert as he offers a lot more going forward but not as good defensively as hibbert and at the end of the day that is what they are there to do ....DEFEND

HIBBO is more solid in the tackle and in general defensive play IMO COLEMAN gets caught out positionally too often and as he has an instinct to attack hes on the front foot before the danger has been snuffed out

10 games should be the benchmark but I think they need a win saturday to pick them up after WBA and that robbery job last night.

From winning our first 2 games in great fashion we've gone to picking up 1 point from West Brom away and Newcastle at home. We've also lost two of our most important players in Gibson and Jelavic through injury (although hopefully Jelavic won't be out too long).

I do think we've been very unlucky but would you still have taken this at the start of the season?

yep I had us to lose at united, beat villa beat west brom and draw to newcastle, so thats 7 points anyway, so far we are on course
