Having a medical today according to BBC ahead of an 8.5m transfer. So all those that were fuming in the summer saying 'we'll never get offered £8m again' you were right, looks like it's gonna be £8.5m. That hat trick v Chelsea must have been worth half a million.

Whatever people want to say about him, to get £8.5m for a player signed on a free, who apparently has no ability, he's been a great bit of business for the club. He's scored some big goals, always given his all, and helped the homeless people of Liverpool along the way (which I'm sure he'll continue to do)
