Up to their absolute nuts in it

That was the beginning of the end for them as well. Got relegated twice after that and never threatened the top 6. Allardyce kept his "never relegated" trophy though as he bailed before it all hit the fan.

Broke it down the other week mate.

Their are 3 types of owners/chairman that go the Allardyce route. and some of these types overlap and the owner contains multiple sections of them

Utter incompetent ones - who just see him as a good appointment and are blissfully aware of all the other problems he entails
Owners who are wishing to sell - and they do so as he short term maintains their status until the club can be sold - these are arguably worse than the first group as they don't have one shred of care for the club - but only the bottom line
Clubs which are in terminal decline - usually as a result of the first two types of owners - and it's a case of absolute panic

Now the question is - If we hire them which category do our owners and Chairman fall into?

Amazing stuff. Overseen the worst period of discontinuity and poor spending in the club's lifetime (relative to available resources) and has been rewarded by being able bring his corrupt cronies in with him

Only in the mad world of football and Everton

Can't stand good news greg - BUT and it's a small hope, if these types of report gain traction it could put a last minute stop to the car crash going on and see walsh out on his arse.

No chance at this stage I don't think mate. What a gang of utter crooks
