He discovered Zola in Italy, i think he will unearth another gem while there.
The reason he was signed was to identify targets for the first team and the U23s.
People assumed he was hired to pick up gems and save us a few bob, but there he is, spending 30m on players and everybodys heads fell off.

not that anyone should believe it until they actually sign but the six players from AC and Inter do not strike me as players who could take us further
Niang Lapadula and Bacca? miles away from Roms quality. Just feels like a waste
and the Inter players only Brozovic to me would improve us (in an area we don't really need at the moment)
Have you ever considered that we have no interest in any of those players?

We signed Enner Valencia, and gave Gareth Barry a new contract
based on that it wouldn't surprise me if we sign Spot the Dog

Enner Valencia is a top class international player signed on loan while Gareth Barry is the most experienced player ever in the premiership.
