Starting XI for the derby

Ill be surprised if Moyes doesnt put Fellaini in the same role as he did for both Swansea games last season. Joe Allen couldnt and didnt get close to Fellaini.

i like the idea of mirallas on the left, he can come inside and allow baines to play his normal game, also offers more attacking threat than pienaar..may well be something liverpool arent prepared for

Seems to be his preferred position, but i wasn't too sure about it on Sunday.

Nev is blatantly starting in midfield alongside Osman. I've accepted this now so I wont fume on matchday. Before kick off that is.

Yep.

I can basically say the starting eleven now.

Howard

Hibbert
Jagielka
Distin
Baines

Coleman
Osman
Neville
Mirallas

Fellaini
Jelavic

The only possible change to that is Anichebe instead of Coleman. Everything else is nailed on.

After last match I'd expect Coleman right mid for sure. I'll be astounded if that isn't spot on.

Why does everyone think Coleman is nailed on for RM???

For this game I'd agree hibbert back in at RB but I think Oviedo or Naismith have every chance of making it onto the wings in pienaar's absence...

Personaly would go for Naismith right... Mirallas left.

Is Hibbert even fit? Last I heard he was 'almost ready for training' which was only last week...how is he gonna be fit enough to deal with the pace they have on the left?
