Rest Barry for Besic

Rest Lukaku for Eto'o

Rest Baines for Oviedo maybe

The recently returning players McCarthy, Coleman and Bakley need the games so they should start

Lille lost at home to Guingamp 2-1 yesterday.

Enyeama
Kjaer Sidibe Beria Corchia
Basa Balmont Meite Traore
Mavuba Rodelin
Meite is only 20, capped for France at every level upto and including his age group. Defensive Midfielder. Balmont (34) his midfield partner, French league stalwart. Kjaer (25) Full Danish international, played RB to fill in I believe. Divvee Rascal didn't get a run yesterday.

I wonder what Pienaar's fitness is like? He doesn't seem robust at all these days. If he starts against Lille, what are the chances he'll be available for Burnley?

I can see Oviedo, Gibson, Besic and Eto'o having some action. So maybe something like:

Howard
Coleman - Jags - Alcaraz - Oviedo
Gibson - Besic
McGeady - Naismith - Osman (being realistic here)
Eto'o

Then with the likes of Barkley, Lukaku, Baines and Pienaar as an option from the bench. The only question in that lineup for me is whether Coleman can manage three games in a week. If not, we might see Hibbert or Browning (probably Hibbo) in.

Pienaar seriously disappointed me against Man United...he looked lightweight and hid for long periods.

Same as yesterday with Eto'o for Lukaku and Besic for Barry for me. Probably Pienaar for Barkley as well.

Try and get qualification wrapped up with a couple of games to spare.

Howard
Coleman Browning Jagielka Baines
Barry
Besic McCarthy
Barkley
Naismith Lukaku

Eto'o Pienaar and Oviedo off the bench.

We win this were virtually threw and can rest players later in the tournament when there's a bust schedule.

Right now Id play full strength and get the result.

From yesterday bring Besic in for Osman for sure and possibly Browning for Alcaraz at CB if he can't play three games in a week.

Diamond midfield.

Howard

Hibbert. Jags. Distin. Oviedo.

McCarthy. Besic.
McGeady. Pienaar.
Naismith.

Eto'o

I reckon it's more important to keep our league form on the up and not over play our important players who are just back from injury. Besides that team should have enough in them to get a draw at least, which is always a good result away in from home in Europe.

Howard
Coleman Alcaraz/Distin Jagielka Baines
McCarthy Barry
McGeady Naismith Pieanaar
Eto'o

Subs: Joel, Browning, Besic, Oviedo, Barkley, Lukaku, Atsu

That would mean leaving out Distin/Alcaraz, Gibson, Osman with the view to come back for Burnley. But shows how strong our squad is, despite still missing Kev and Stones
