The other point worth noting is Stan Mills brother is one of the country’s best middle-distance athletes, so the genes are very good. I’ve been mentioning Stanley Mills for a couple of years (suggesting he revert to RB) but I’m under no illusion about the massive gulf to first team football. Saying that, I recall a commentator saying he’s one of the best PL2 players.

Spot on. His dad was always one of the more determined lads to succeed at Norwich, very grounded fella. in the same team as Craig “nothing between the ears” Bellamy at youth level. Stanley looks like he has similar focus and stands out more often than not at youth level, there’s no way he is a worse option than some of the actual experienced squad for game time. I’m quietly optimistic he can be a decent option going forward and would be looking to keep him
