Carsley and Osman played in the middle against Fiorentina. Neville also played on the right wing for alot of the game against City at home.

We lose alot more games than we win with Neville in midfield, believe me.

sorry i must have got confused with the Fiorentina games. and i agree with you about him playing in the middle, just trying to be positive about it.

fiorentina wasn't good football? we played the long ball. and against city away we spent most of the match defending and hitting it long to johnson on the break.

To be fair Harry I thought we mixed it up well against Fiorentina, flashes of good football and direct football.

Against City we had a good first half, second half we just reverted to hoofball and backs against the wall football.

The one thing I'll say is both Saha and Yakubu are good at dropping deep and supporting the midfield, hopefully they can link play a bit and bring the likes of Arteta and Osman into the game.

Moyes has went with a positive team today, fair play to him. I'm not happy with the centre of midfield but to be honest Pienaar obviously isn't fit enough.

Watch them do us with runners through the middle with nice simple passing after we have given the ball away.

I dont think ive ever felt so expectant of a loss. Every game this season ive thought it was gonna be the one where we get it together and perform like we can. And every game i'm dissapointed. Really cant see that changing now.

We will only start to play once its too late.

Really hope i'm wrong though of course.

How do you know that?

I think he's been dropped because we don't need another striker, Anichebe, Cahill, Saha and Yakubu can all play in forward positions.

Castillo and Pienaar can come into midfield.

Neville in midfield I don't like, but could we be any worse in midfield at the moment? No, therefore Pip shouting at everyone and telling them what to do is probably the right choice (he says, begrudgingly).

edit: Just noticed Yobo has been dropped. I thought he should have been a couple of games ago, but am unsure if tonight is the right choice
