He does need to take some responsibility. It's clear that we're not being run as well as we could be, lack of funds isn't really an excuse for a club like us.

November I believe, and Kenwright will not get as much money as you think. he probably won't even give up his shares, he will still be chairman - that is what I am led to believe, and why Moyes took so long to sign his contract, as he wanted assurances that Kenwright would not be ousted.

Oh

Great...

Just after coming out as anti-kenwright

As long as he's not in overall control

Kenwright is a utter CUUNT!!!!!!!

Dont care what the ken-lovers say. If your happy he's incharge of this club, then your head must be firmly up your arse.

I thank him for what he done in the past, but for the last 4 years he's slowley killing us....

Please for our sake Mr Kenwright Will you sell up an go.

slowly killing us is a bit harsh.
bill has taken us from a skint relagation battling side to a euro qualifiying regular.
we are one of the few teams to actually make a profit,
its this success in what he has done is now his own downfall,
we were getting all too familiar with the end of season battle not to go down, even when we last won the fa cup we had only just escaped the drop.
the position we are in now with top six finish's, europa league, champions league qualifying and an fa cup final, carling cup semi's,
we are begining to dream again of more and his tentative step's forward are leaving us all feelng fustrated,
our love of goodison is impairing our view of what could be everton fc's next big step forward th new kirkby stadium if it is to have a much larger capacity is our only way forward without a multi billionaire owner with money to throw away, and who's to say the spending of the shittees and chelski's of this world wont come back to haunt them chelsea's wage bill is reported at 150mil they cant be earning that much, with the money to keep spending on players and top manager's aswell how long before we see more go the way of leeds,
I too believe he should go, he coverts this club of our's too much,I don't believe he will find a new buyer because he isn't really looking, some must find us and then, then tentative stepsmay become the silverware

After getting back in the early hours after wembley and watching the game again it came as a pleasent suprise to see Kenwright in tears . But could he have been crying because of what he knows he is doing to this club ? Crying because he could see all of us going mental with utter joy thinking " Holy sh*t this it it for us were on our way " but him knowing really he is going to sell our history and heritage off when he gets his way ? If Everton do move I will shed more than a tear I am welling up just writing that line . I cannot bear the thought of it .

Club like us? So we need to spending money to maintain our stature? Is that what your saying?

Is there not a long term plan in place?

Do we want to risk losing that prestigous place in the top flight by throwing money at a problem?

I'm not saying Kenwright is a saviour, but your all saying that he isn't backing the manager and is evil. That really isn't the case. He backs the manager as much as he can. Of course he wants to sell, he wants Everton to be at the top, doesn't want them to be 5th, he's also not stupid enough to think he can take them to the top like they are doing now.

People need to step back and think a bit more.

He sheds tears because of his affiliation to the club mate. He doesn't want to move, but he's a realist.

I think to him selling the club is like telling a small child to put its favourite toy away he knows he's got to he is just putting off for aslong as possible

Make no mistake, thats down to are manager. Yes Kenwright brought him here, but has'nt given him the tools he needs for the job.

Moyes is doing his job in getting us in Europe each year an good cup runs. But Billy boy is letting him down very badly by not backing him...

Or maybe he looks at what happened at Leeds and Newcastle and he wouldn't want to be the man who sells the club to someone who runs into the ground.

By the way I am not totally disagreeing with people here, just looking at it from another angle, it's not always as it seems, or how people lead you to that conclusion.

10 minutes on Kipper and you will be baying for Kenwrights blood. But this is a man who has brought us the best players we have had since we won the league in 1987. He may not be able to take us to the top 4, but he's done a good job in getting us to a consistent level of performance week in week out.

If he didn't back him he wouldn't be able to sign those players that got him 5th spot, Europe and a Cup final.

I just mean we are not a small club that could not support itself were it to reach the top level. We have quite a large fanbase and history to call upon.

My point is that it's easy for Kenwright to say he wishes he had the money to go out and buy players for the manager, but he doesn't so he can't etc. Football is still business; if you are a truly great businessman you will find a way to make your business the best. If you're right and there is a long term plan, then fair enough, let's hope it's a good one.

Well there is. He's not flying by the seat of his pants.

I just smile at the amount of people who ignore the white elephant.

I am afraid I have to agree with you . Its clear and I dont think anyone can argue that he does love the club as much as any Blue . But its obvious he is blinded by that love so much so that we are now standing still or even going backwards because of it . Listening to Collymore was intresting because it wasnt like listening to a group of angry Evertonians veins bulging out the side of the head screaming blue murder . It was a logical argument from a genuinely mystified outsider who could not for the life of him work out just Everton of all clubs hadnt been snapped up .
Yeah i think you have a point BK is leading us to a standstill..a much better stabdstill than the mess we where in when he came along but a standstill nontheless.

Sometimes in life you have to move on and even in these difficult times surely there's a buyer or even an investor willing to put money in the club becuase if theres not who can we sell next summer to fund the transfers?
