Squirrel project

My cat loves em. I often find his quarry on the doormat in the utility room along with all sorts of other wildlife. He is a stone cold killer.

I have a beautiful 80ft Sycamore in my garden which used to house bats. They were a wonderful sight flying around as the sun was going down in summer. A couple of years ago two grey squirrels appeared. After a week or so I managed to shoot both of them but not before they had stripped the bark from a much younger and smaller tree. The bats however were never seen again. Two more grey squirrels appeared the next year and they were dispatched immediately. I felt bad killing them but friends had explained the absolute damage and carnage they bring so now I’m more relaxed about it…..
