Spurs have done what we should’ve done after 2004/5

Tbf we didn't have the pull nor finances of Spurs back in 04-05. Our best chance to try to bridge the gap would've been around the time moshiri came in and we could compete financially for once but where Spurs made all the right decisions on management and players and we made all the wrong ones

The frustrating thing for me is the wasted years we've had since Moshiri arrived. We've over spent, appointed questionable managers, and generally appeared kind of foolish. Say what you want about Levy, but he's a shrewd negotiator. We finished 3 points ahead of Spurs in 13/14...haven't been close since.

They spent the Gareth Bale money and uncovered Harry Kane ....
We sold Rom and two season later still haven't come near to replacing him.
To think 12 years ago we were ahead of them.

Not sure I would agree about making the right managerial appointments.

But in general we have been on the right trajectory over the last 15 years.
