Spurs Away

I genuinely don’t give a toss about this game. I don’t care who he selects and who he doesn’t. I’m so bored of Moyes and I’m so disappointed to admit that. I hoped he had progressed as a manager and all the old habits had been erased. But no. Instead we have the same hesitant, predictable style of management. Some players are hung out to dry for a poor performance, while others can play like [Poor language removed] for half a season and still play every game. News flash. Tarks & Keane are [Poor language removed] together. How does Moyes not see this?!? One example amongst so so many where he refuses to change something that doesn’t work. We have learnt almost nothing about our new players, apart from Rohl seems decent, even when played out of position. Three games stood out for me this season. Bournemouth, Forest & Villa away. All were games where Moyes had to select a team when missing some of his favourites. None had Keane & Tarks together. All featured players that Moyes has been loathe to use since. Our season has collapsed from his refusal to rotate an already small squad and running his favourites in to the ground. I cannot understand his thinking when our best performances have used the very players he seemingly doesn’t trust. He said he had the final say on all signings. If that is the case then the buck stops with him. He signed them and then suggests they are not good enough, but happily plays the same players who have let us down time and time again. He deserves a f’in rocket up the backside but instead will be praised for a season of stability. We’re on 49 points. That is not progress whatever happens against Spurs. Right, rant over, I feel much better for it, Sorry for boring the f out of you all.

I didn’t read all that, but I liked it cos it looks like you put a good amount of thought and effort into that post, which I admire.

Like I said on main spurs match thread I want everton to play like their lives depend on it just like all the teams did against us when we had our relegation battles..you could see they were desperate to send us down.....so whoever goes down it won't be because of everton lying down.

I thought we may have a chance but not sure how seriously the players will take it. Particularly considering some papers reporting players out in the early morning etc. I feel they could be in holiday mode
