2 things... I think it is what people refer to as Nibiru, it was located and identified as a planet a while back by amateur astronomers who swapped info to confirm orbit and time lapse return etc....

Which links to ancient legends and depictions of a 9th planet, Sumeria especially included it in many tales.
One story is the formation of earth after the collision of Tiamat, a large planet with either another planet or breaking up due to asteroid strikes. Tiamat itself or part of spun off from the collision to form this planet and the legends of the dark side, the devil etc, sprang from the telling of the creation myths.
It is alleged to bring upheaval, possibly due to orbital gravitational influence.
