Spicy butternut squash soup that my neighbour makes is amazing.

I'm happy with any soup though, as long as it has the holy trinity as a base - and I don't mean Harvey, Ball and Kendall.

A nice minestrone for me, although not the crappy ones you get in cans. Proper stuff from Italy is well nice.

Yes, I've had that, homemade ( not by me ) and it was great, with some warm crusty bread too.
