Hi, I'm relatively new to the forum. I've been going to Goodison since the 1963 Charity Shield (4-0 win v Man U for younger readers).
[Publication is blacklisted] ran a story yesterday that it's a bugbear for Dominic Calvert-Lewin that he doesn't have a regular song sung by the Goodison faithful. One to the tune of UB40s Kingston Town pops up at away games but I've never heard that at Goodison. Indeed, I nearly posted on here several weeks ago that it would be great to hear Goodison belting out a song for Dom, who I think has always tried his heart out for Everton. "Ole Ole Beto" must sting him a bit.
I've heard the Bella Ciao thing (based on an Argentine commentator) and it is sort of catchy but I've no idea what he's actually singing (well it is in Spanish) so I'm not sure we'll get everyone joining in easily. If we do fine but the obvious song for me would be "Super, Super Dom" as per Kevin Campbell. Not original I know but everybody would soon join in. I know his surname is unwieldy but "Dom-nic Calvert Lewin" fits for me.
Come on guys, tell us how Bella Ciao actually goes or give it up for "Super, super Dom, Dom-nic Calvert-Lewin"
