Great piece,brings back so many memories. Being fined for turning out a weakened side before the FA Cup semi final. ( has that happened to anyone else) Used to see lots of the young players around when they lived in digs. In one of Steve's books their was a bit in there about Gerry asking The Catt for a pay rise - as he had made the first team on occasions - the conversation had me in bulk on how dominant & clver the Catt was - & Gerry never got his pay rise .....
…wowzy, how times changed. I distinctly remember Husband in that great FA Youth Cup winning team of ‘65, Humphreys didn’t play in that one.
