Player Valuation: £500k
*Were out of the Carling Cup

*Were as good as out of Europe

*Our seasons over

*We spent 15 million pounds on a 6 foot 4 bag of [Poor language removed]

*We let Carlsey who is so good the 'Makelele position' should be re-named the 'Carlsey position'.

*Moyes wont sign a contract as he's off to Man U

*Moyes will be replaced by Sam Alardyce

*Vaughan will be injured again before November and his career will be over.

This is just some of the [Poor language removed] people have been spouting on this and other forums over the last week or so. GET A [Poor language removed] GRIP!!!!!!!!

* Yes were out of the Carling Cup, move on.

* Its all to play for in Leige, we have a good chance, they are favourites but who cares! We only need to win by one goal!

* The seasons just started! As players come back to fitness and the new boys settle things will improve... were going through a bad patch, give the boys support and they will come through it! We always have a bad run at some point in a season!

* Fellaini has had 3 games in a new league, no time to settle in to the club ... some players take time to settle in to our league as its so much quicker and more physical then other leagues. Mark Hughes said of Robinho "Some players settle in straight away, some players it takes 6 months... we'll only know by putting him in straight away and finding out". Not all players can just come in and be world beaters, it takes time to adapt. OH and don't quote me "He cost £15m"... I DONT CARE! I couldn't give a [Poor language removed] if he cost £30m... Moyes saw something in him that makes him think he's gonna be [Poor language removed] ace, apparently he WAS [Poor language removed] ace at Leige... give him 6 months and then get on his back if he's still [Poor language removed]! How can you judge someone on 3 games?! How many games do you think scouts watch before deciding on a player to recommend?
Everton scout - "Mr Moyes i'd like to recommend Vladamir Slabodovan" Moyes - "How many times have you watched him"?
Everton scout - "3 times and he was great in all 3 games"
Moyes - "Wow he played great in 3 games... he must be amazing then!"
GET A GRIP PEOPLE!!!

* Carsley was good, but he wasn't amazing! How many times did people say "oh we need better, someone who can pass and offer something other then defending"... then we get a new player who actually looks good this time and everyone's crying in to their porridge over their now favourite former player. Carlsey was limited, we need to have better to push on. yes he did a good job but again we've got to let Castillo settle and form a partnership with the biys behind him. This will improve once he can speak the language. I'm convinced some people would rather we had Carlsey playing on in to his 50's cause they dont like change.

* Moyes to Man U... It may happen, it probably won't ... it'll be in the future if it does, and it'll only happen if Moyes is successfull, so why worry about it now? He might go to africa to scout a player and catch ebola as well, are we gonna worry about that too?

* Sam Alardyce would never get the job at everton... it would either go to Alan Irvine, Stubbsy or Neville to keep the continuity. We can;t afford to bringin a new manager who will want 60 million to reshape the squad Kenwright would employ someone already involved.

* Vaughan will get his chance in the team, but will be eased in now. We have enough quality up front to not have to rush him back from injury again. Hopefully a more gradual re-introduction this season will help eliminate his injuries.

So can we please all calm down, take a deep breath, count to ten and just wait to see how things pan out this season? God were ok, its not been a great start but its not been the disaster some people seem to think it has been. Give the boys time to gell and give them some bloody support!

Rant over (y)

wel...just some pointers:

Moyes - Why hasnt he signed a contract? After saying he would all those months ago. The transfer window is over so it cant be because of players, we are a few games into the premierleague etc...there is no reason for Moyes not signing - unless Money. I never considered Moyes to be the greedy type though...could i be wrong?

Carsley - Not only was it his position - he added good morale and atmosphere to the changing rooms, we miss him greatly...One of my favouirte players here...we shouldve offered him 50,000 a week :) haha, but seriously, id love him back as a coach in 2 or 3 years...or even better a coach/player, so when things are going bad, he just says to Moyes "[Poor language removed] this" takes off his tracksuit to reveal the Everton shirt, then goes on the pitch and scores a screamer.

If Allardyce got the job i wouldnt go the home matches...it would be too terrible to endure...Even Martin Jol would be better...

Vaughan - this season Anichebes looked better, but i always considered Vaughan to be the better one...now my head hurts...He just needs to calm down abit, get a bit of composure and he will be fine...give him a couple of starts and that will start to happen...

Also the exit in the Carling Cup, it was bound to happen, so it may aswell have been early so we can concentrate on other competitions...

I agree there, Dom. The Carling is a crap competition and we're better off out of it. At least we can concentrate on competitions that matter.

I don't think Moyes wants to sign the contract until he has re-assurances that money will be available in future. Kenwright is trying to tie him down to a 5 year deal, but why would Moyes sign a 5 year deal when he knows he'll have nothing to use as leverage when it comes to transfer funds? Refusing to sign a new contract is a way of at least getting Bill to stump up some cash, or sell to a wealthy investor. Neither has happened so Moyes hasn't signed.

I dont think Carsley should take off his tracksuit, more rip it off in a superman stylee lol! But yeah i'd like him back in a coaching capactity at some point too.

Vaughan is better then Anichebe, problem is he's missed so much football that when he comes on he just runs around like a headless chicken. Too much enthusiasm built up over a long and frustrating period for him. Once the novelty of actually playing footy again wears off I think we'll see him back to his best.

I dont agree with what someone else said about getting knocked out of the carling cup. Its never a good time to be knocked out of the cup, but we have been so we should just accept it, move on and concentrate on other comps.

Fair enough, Andy. I personally don't like the competition at all. But that's just my personal opinion. To me, it causes fixture congestion and frankly, it was unlikely that we'd win it anyway. The only reservation I had about going out early was that it was on the back of some poor form.

The UEFA cup is the one I'm really interested in. That is the cup that can raise our profile, even more so than the FA cup.

and another thing to consider is we haven't spent 15m on Fellaini yet.

I heard it was in payments broken down throughout his contract so we've only actually spent 3 million on him.

I only hope Moyes Signs his contract before the end of the season, if he signs a five year contract the latter the better in my opinion. Hes given his word he will sign and thats good enough for me look at his comments on the OS about the Derby and youl see what the club means to him.

An inresting devlopment today has been that from this season onwards cup winners will not get a place in Europe, i wonder will the places that the CC and FA currently hold be fed back into the PL.

Sounds more like the Everton we all know:lol:I cant believe that people are judging new players on three games:(

Whats the matter with some people. Give the lad a chance to show us what he's about. Its a whole new world out there for him and he needs a bit of time to settle. Professional Football is a high pressure game and nobody cant just walk into a club and expect to be the star attraction right away. He's gonna do the business but give him time he might look older than his years but he's only a young lad. If he picks up on some people not being sure about him he could come to thinking that he's made a big mistake coming here and then everyones a loser.

Ever wondered if we wanted to be put out of this competition? Nobody that wants to stay in it plays as bad as we did. We dont have a big squad and more games would cost us important players when we really need them. Glad to see the back of it myself. :)
