Someone is going to get absolutely spanked soon

I can see us giving it to Arsenal tbh.

Although obviously it will be a relative spanking, something like 3 or 4 nil. But for us against arsenal I'd consider that a spanking.

We've been ace so far and they've been very poor recently. Their back four can be got at, especially down the flanks.

Hope so Iv got me tickets for this one ordered. And going with my gooner supporting bro who's having to sit in our end!!

If the team doesn't do the job then you just go ahead and spank your brother yourself. People might look at you weirdly but that's ok, just let everyone know some strangers on the internet told you to do it.

Haha... He's already worried as Iv said if arsenal do us I'm gonna tell everyone his a gooner!! Tbf to him he is a big Everton fan of sorts (we're his second team) just took to glory supporting when he was younger and decided on arsenal.

Was saying the same to my mate the other day, somebody is in for a real battering.

Hopefully we can do it at least once in the next 4 games, we are getting into the part of the season where you can get that little bit of a gap between your direct competitors in league terms and if we can do that while spanking somebody that will put the marker down that we are here to stay.

I don't think we've got the quality to smash teams.

Jelavic hasn't performed this season and him aside we're too reliant on Baines and Fellaini.

Add to that the fact we've got probably the worst footballer in the division anchoring our midfield, and a defence that looks like it will always gift the opposition a goal, I think it's a long way away.

By no means is he the worst footballer, he is the worst in his position in the league but he is definitely not the worst footballer in the league.

He's the worst captain in the league, the worst in his current position and probably the least mobile player in the United Kingdom.

It'll have to come against either Sunderland or Reading. We have a midweek game against Arsenal to think about, so if we're 3-0 up at half time against Norwich, we'll be slowing the game right down, like Villa away. I think we could have hockeyed Villa that day, but didn't go for it with the League Cup coming up in midweek.

Is it just me or are there fewer hammerings in general these days? I think teams are more 'professional' now and will take it easy if they get a chance, instead of going to the jugular.

I hope it is sunderland as it's my first game of the season i've been able to get too Goodison already got tickets lower bullens. so hopefully we'll see a few goals. I really want to see a few goals ffs.

Yeah we rarely smash teams even when we've got the chance.

I swear someone on here linked to an interview with Moyes saying he doesn't like beating teams too heavily and he prefers a 2/3-0 win, do the hard work and then take it easy the rest of the game ala Villa away.

Would prefer three points to three goals anyday.
that said you can easily see any of Mirallas, Felli or Jelavic turning in a hattrick soon. Felli should have been there on Saturday. Seems like we are also not seeing the usual strike rate from the likes of Coleman, Osman, Pienaar and even Baines... although Ossie has been playing a different role of late.
