The shameful behaviour from a handful of nasty little scally scumbags changes nothing. It deserves to be condemned. Hopefully the little vermin are found and charged. That being said, I'm still a bit lost on why I'm supposed to be feel bad about it though? I didn't do anything wrong. Nobody I know or saw at the match today did anything wrong so I'm at a loss on why I'm supposed to feel embarrassed and ashamed about anything.

You were part of the rabble that attacked a defenceless woman 11 days ago and are therefore as guilty as I am.

The above sounded dramatic. But I think the club will be in deep peril if they go down. I wish it wasnt the case.

We've been skirting the edges of being the first "big" side to have a proper existential crisis for decades now.

Its felt inevitable for years, like we're just buying time each time we dont get relegated. I just never thought it'd come AFTER getting our much searched for investment.

I cant stand Moshiri either hes a idiot who's easily influenced by people pretending to be his friend who want to line their own pockets.

Kenwright hand picked him to sell too purely because he's stupid enough to let him keep playing with the train set.

Moshiri might be the guy who hires and fires and buys mad players but that's not where this club has failed.

The infrastructure of the club is rotten, jobs for the boys. Failure is rewarded at this club because kenwright has filled all of the positions at the club with his mates. People don't get fired at everton they just get given a different job title.

The inability to do anything. Our commercial deals are embarrassing, our reach into other countries is laughable (we had tim Howard and Donovan at one point and we didn't even try to push for a fan base in America).

I dont think there's a single person at this club thats fit to do their job and its been like this since kenwright took over and its more so now he doesn't own the club.

Shameful day for our great club. A day of infamy really. This has all made the national news and we are being denounced as barbarians. Much of the nation is now rooting for us to be relegated.

For decades I’ve been telling my Australian niece how great our support is and how we Everton fans are usually like a 12th man at Goodison. I took her today for her first Everton game and she wasn’t impressed, to say the least.

Having said that, the fans have every right to be annoyed.

Chasing the players, surrounding their cars, verbally abusing them and demanding "answers" all while some had children in the back seats is utterly deplorable. It's shameful and people need to take some personal responsibility.

Oh and turning on your fellow supporters because they didn't stay behind also won't help anything.

This is exactly what i feared would happen, the have given the media a story about the fans.

Yes. As fans we have turned what should be a story about the board into a story about us being uniquely aggressive/entitled/stupid.

There's no excuse for the ambushing of players.

Until today I still thought we may get out of it. Even now in normal circumstances if there was unity I'd look at that table and still think that we can be one of those teams that'll edge away from the bottom three.

But not when there's a war within the club. That's a self administered fatal error.

And I look on here tonight and some are happy that there's a civil war - and I dont understand that. They think that it'll be "cathartic" to go down. That's an attitude I'm completely alienated from.

I reject the death cult on here and elsewhere that embraces relegation as a "strategy".

Do people seriously believe that bankruptcy and a halving of our fanbase will somehow bring back the glory days?
