This. 'They' nailed the young Obi-Wan Kenobi with Ewan McGregor. Can't see this new guy as Solo tho so far. Hopefully will feel different after I've seen it.

The character is already there, set in stone. As longs as he 'enhances' that characterization and fleshes it out - its a win. Forget the voice, Ehrenreich should not (and obviously does not) try and 'sound like Harrison Ford. That's great - he needs to just sound like himself and make sure he nails the character. Look at the botch job and pathetic attempt by Ewan McGregor to try and sound like Alec Guinness??? Awful. If they wanted him to sound like Ford, they would have gone with (in what would have been a major disaster) a fully CGI character for Solo. Imagine that!!!

What I have seen so far, looks great. And also - the original design of the Falcon, looks great. Its grown on me. The Falcon we know and love will evolve out of that, so no worries - seeing it in all its glory before Solo's 'special modifications' is great.

Glover as Calrissian looks fantastic. The antagonist with that mask and bone armor looks cool, Emelia Clarke (while not the greatest of actresses) is bloody hot.....

Bring it on.

See my above post. I though, along with EVERYTHING else about the prequels - Ewans attempt at 'replicating' Guinness, was awful.
 
Chewbacca is sound the rest of them are bad beauts . And them little hairy fellas ewoks they’re decent. Feel the force of my foot up yer arse Luke
