The reason he's odds on is because the rules for next manager is that if he manages 10 games then he will qualify as the next manager so therefore wins the bet. This suggests punters feel he will hang around for a while until someone the board want become available

Merson said it on Sky Sports, that coming back from 2 goals down shows that the players will fight for him.

Happy with him staying till end of season, then reviewing situation again.

FT employment with the U23s? :coffee:

I'm going to be very candid here david

I think it shows real bravery to appoint him til the end of the season. I think they've been influenced by his hardline stance on Mirallas and Schneids.

However i also think it is potentially the single most risky managerial decision we've ever made

I dont think it's been conformed has it mate?

You might end up with Allardyce yet!

Us appointing Unsworth is like when Tottenham appointed Sherwood. I only hope we can find our own Pochettino before too much damage is done. I like Rhino, but I like Everton more and the time for sentiment is gone.

He's bullet proof to a certain extent.

Get it right and he's the hero we all wanted.

Get it wrong and it was the irreparable damage done by Koeman, that couldn't be fixed.
