I've always wonder if Koeman might of turned it around, I'm not sure he would, just like Silva wont turn around the backward step we have taken.

He had a terrible fixture list at the start, and prob got the results you would expect over s season but were condensed into 10 or so weeks.
Rooney ruined his home coming by being caught drink driving early on. Led to a cloud put over the team.
But he also ostracised youth players, and signed players over the hill players he thought would make an instant impact, so he could clear off to manage Barcelona sooner rather than later without a second thought for Everton’s future

It's a question of who was here first, to pay FS off just to get Silva was stupid, only Everton could get shut of him only to take a backward step.
But the precedent was set, if your awful your out.

I would've shipped him out, too, but add in the injuries, 5 out of his 7 league matches against the top 6, Europa, League Cup, etc. he did have it tough.

Anyone defending Koeman should be questioned. He had no interest whatsoever in being the manager of our club. Simply the worst manager I've ever seen for us. Utterly and completely clueless. Terrible hire as well from Moshiri, you could see that Martinez's style needed a tweak, not a complete and utter overhaul by bringing in that moon headed Dutch tit.
