Some random guy on Twitter...

"My understanding is Everton had Francisco 'Paco' Alcácer from Valencia at Finch Farm last Thurs. Unclear whether potential loan or signing."

He heard it whilst at the Under 18 game at Goodison apparently.

Hopefully there's some truth in it, he's a good player.

Sorry to be a bit negative but i'm a bit wary of Spanish strikers, mainly because out of the 5 or 6 "big" ones there are, Negredo seems to be the only good one!! Soldado is gash, Torres is gash and lets not start on Aspas... Just dont think Spain has a great record for strikers, but i'm open to us signing the two lads and them proving me wrong!

We got at least 12m for Anichebe and Jelavic.

If only we could have not spent 6m on Kone, we'd have been able to put together an 18m bid for Lukaku or somebody similarly ace.

Soldado is a class striker....one bad transfer doesn't change that.

My buddy here says Alcacer has a good reputation but doesnt figure yet for Valencia and is beind three players with more experience in the u21s...morata, jese and rodrigo. I trust Bobby to make the most of technically talented youngsters which all the Spanish youth internationals will be.
