Lukaku has first of all to find out what the future holds for him at Chelsea.
To me he is the closest think to a young Drogba that I have seen, and we all know what Mourinho thought of Drogba.

Long term I think Lukaku may see his future at Chelsea and may not be interested in a move to Everton.
I hope I am wrong ,but it is difficult for most clubs to compete with the spending power and almost constant guarantee of success that Chelsea have.

I am clinging to the hope that Rooney is Chelsea bound and that might mean that Lukaku may not see himself as the main striker at Chelsea anytime soon.
In any event this is a situation that will be resolved in the summer rather than the January window.

Are we even in for that Belgian lad? Cos all I've seen is Nixon saying in the Mirror/People that we are for £7m but O'Keefe (who has links within the club) saying we aren't. I still say there is a target that will be off the radar until a deal is announced, much like the Lukaku deal in August
