Interestingly the result here is exactly the same as the last poll that covered this question back in February.

So it appears that the only real difference of opinion on the forum is regarding the question of whether he sees out the last year of his current contract or not.

I would be happy to see him given a role upstairs for the remainder of his contract. I’d be equally happy to see him thanked for his services at the end of this season.

If this board has any ambition they need to get Iraola tied down immediately, before pre season.

No, at this moment in time he hasn't done enough to warrant us giving him a new contract.

If he delivers European football next season, then maybe, but there should be no talk about a new contract until we see if he can do that.

And before anyone starts on this - there are plenty of examples of managers in their final year of a contract doing well (Moyes in his final year here last time, Iraola this season, etc), so there's no reason to rush anything.

I don't think even thr most ardent of Moyes fans can say hes deserving?

I respect the opinion of, albeit disagree, of people wanting him to get next season... but a new contract? I dont think hes done anything to warrant an extension.

Might have differed had he taken the relatively winnable cup ties differently. But where we need to be, and where he takes us, arent the same.
