I don't think Tarashaj is a proper striker, would probably have been competing for Barkleys position, behind a main striker.

...I'm not surprised really, I had the impression he wasn't a shoe-in for his Swiss club.
Don't think you can say that about this lad. He's going out to get game time as he's clearly not at that stage of his career to be playing regularly in the Prem at the moment.

Time will tell but at 21 you would hope that he wasn't too far off.
It's good for the lad, but equally a bit strange that he's deemed good enough for the Bundesliga, but not the Premier League. Maybe it's a move akin to the Galloway to WBA one, and he's gone to Germany as a native German speaker.
good news this, hopefully he will get a lot of minutes there. better than sitting in the u21s.
