I am impressed by the duff man, he played really well last night.
Duff man? I think you mean Duffy man!

OH YEAH!

He looked the part to me. The lad should keep his place, playing regular, as should Rodwell, as should Barkley, as should Velios.

Fukkinmoyes grrrrr

Duffy has done superb these last couple games. He really does look the part.

Que moyes to sign an ageing centre half on sod all money then bench Duff man.

Well done to the lad though, he's solid.

Decent game overall. Couple of miss placed passes early on but sorted it out. Will be intresting to see how he gets on against the big boys. Adebayor,Van Persie,Rooney,Aguero.....different kettle of fish to Agbonlohor an Goodwillie

Fair point. Apart from the odd panicky moment, I think they looked mostly solid today. It might have been different if the Yak had been playing, but Duffy's confidence must be growing with every minute on the pitch.

Who'd have thought? I get so fed up of reading on here how we can't play young players in case they make a mistake and it messes up their development. Its nonsense, get them on the pitch!!

id lov nothin better to see more of our "promising "youngsters in the team but to many and its an accident waiting to happen its all well and good putting in a young defender but if you fill ur midfield / forward line with them in our current form they are going to fold due to pressure to succeed...........theres vellios ( who i thought was crap on sat) who would hav thought he scored a hat trick midweek after SAT performance

but DUFFY need games and he will develop and hope hes given his chance and not dumped( which i think DM WILL DO ) as soon as the others come back

couple of people here have mentioned he is proned to hitting the long ball,

did anybody notice when the ball broke in our area and without a second thought whipped a pass (with a sort of freekick taking tekkers) around their left winger staright into donovans path who then set off down the right

i was majorly impressed with that,
