John Bishop, stop it. You are not funny….give upI wrote a letter a few years ago about the standards and so forth, yet to hear back .
You are right!…..that we just accept this absolute dirge we are served up week in, week out. Dont you want more? Dont you want better? Then how about demand it it FFS
We can point to being "five points from fifth" and feel warm and fuzzy inside. What happens when we don’t finish 8th
There's not actually much we can do about it is there other than go on strike and that will work wonders.…..that we just accept this absolute dirge we are served up week in, week out. Dont you want more? Dont you want better? Then how about demand it it FFS

Understand what you are trying to say, but your conclusion is way over the top. There are 1000s of loons, 1000s of thickos, etc, etc, but many who have "standards", too.Unfortunately we are what we are now, a lower half side that’s traditionally plays crap boring football. The days of great Everton sides are long gone for now.
Its probably 2 generations of Everton fans now that view a couple of years being comfortable in the league and the odd flirt with Europe league as great success because that’s all they’ve had
There’s no standards to the fanbase or the club anymore
Nope. Wrong. We have a mixed fanbase. All sorts of Evertonians. Try meeting the fans of other clubs. I know Leeds, Spurs, West Ham, etc, fans, and they are generally "fooked", too, esp Spurs. Some of the replies here, as a fan base we are truly fooked.
Sadly there are idiots like the Only- Blues-Toffee who only spouts what he reads online, wouldn’t know a footballer if he tripped over one , and only ever makes love to himself
good point. But my issue is, it seems EFC fans have now become used to the weekly dross we get served up. Like they are not arsedUnfortunately we are what we are now, a lower half side that’s traditionally plays crap boring football. The days of great Everton sides are long gone for now.

Did you sign it "Yours disgusted Walton" or the like? You are right!
I am writing a stiff letter to the Editor of the Lancashire Evening Post as we speak. I just hope the coward finds the guts to publish it on their letters page.
THAT should do the job.
The key word there is "seems"

I think that what we are missing is a talisman. A super supporter. A man, woman or child who never misses a game. One who is adorned in pin badges that have been collected over decades regardless of opposition or result. A true hero of the modern day. Their self sewn pockets hold clackers, maracas and a drum manufactured from the stretched Papier Mache formed from away credits. Anything less is simply not good enough.
