I was staggered when I realised this. Pretty much a standard view. So much extra money but all you get in return is the token and a programme.

Your paying for that certainty (Brighton no doubt had a premium for history/the first ever game at a new stadium)
If you only attend a few games a season, and want certainty - then it makes sense vs the alternative.
So there's games you can get for £99, deduct the £10 F&B voucher (there's also merch/tour ones) and it's better than paying £60 per individual membership, and then entering a lottery and paying whatever the face value is.
Most of their packages are hospitality. Like for West Ham, you can get this for £259. That's a better offering than anything Goodison ever had.
I think you'd really struggle to find a package in the Premier League, with a complimentary bar for cheaper
