Everton has announced reductions in all areas of Goodison Park with the 2007/08 Season Ticket prices.

Everton Football Club today unveils its season ticket pricing structure for 2007/08 with the announcement of price reductions in all areas of Goodison Park.

All season ticket holders who renew their seats between April 1 and April 28, 2007 will be paying 10% less than the prices introduced after last year's price freeze.

Following on from the end of the four-week early bird window, the Club will then FREEZE all season ticket prices at their current 2006/07 levels.

Chief Executive Keith Wyness said: "We are all mindful of the recent media attention on ticket prices and in view of that, and our commitment to giving supporters value for money, we were determined to offer genuinely competitive pricing for next season.

"Last year over 80% of our season ticket holders benefited from a two-week price freeze and this prompted our decision to introduce a four-week window this time around to give our fans more time to take advantage.

"The structure of this year's offer will also mean in many cases supporters buying during the early bird window can actually benefit from a cheaper seat than 12 months ago even if they did the same and purchased early last year."

Everton has also this year demonstrated a major commitment to its young supporters by offering junior fans a ticket to watch all home Premier Leagues games for £190 - or £10 per game.

Wyness continued: "As announced in January, we have recently kicked off our Young Everton initiative and affordable pricing is key to seeing more and more youngsters enjoy the family friendly atmosphere at Goodison.

Therefore, we are pleased to announce further significant reductions in our under 16, Family Enclosure ticket price and at just £190 per season, we have our lowest price in recent years."
Along with the planned season ticket prices, Everton is also offering interest free payment terms in partnership with the recently launched, new Everton credit card.

It means supporters who purchase their 2007/08 season ticket with the new credit card won't have to pay anything until December 2007. Click Here.

Wyness added: "The decision to reduce our prices came after a long period of consultation and we are delighted that a seat inside Goodison Park next season will still be one of the best in terms of value in the Premiership.

"Gate receipts represent a significant percentage of any football club's income and whilst it is critical to ensure the ticket pricing offer is the right one in order to support the aims and objectives of the team manager, it is vital that coming to Goodison Park remains affordable.

We believe our 2007/08 prices demonstrate our ambition on both fronts and we do look forward to seeing our loyal supporters back in their seats for the start of the new Premier League campaign."For the full list of Season Ticket prices for the 2007/2008 season, click here.

the cuts have been made to calculate the take up in april, this brings a certain amount of the season ticket money in so that along with league cash and i suspect a new sponsor the club can set a budget for incoming players.
