He didn't play like that in the Championship. He now has to compete in the Premier League on a tiny budget.
What makes you think he would play like that at Everton? But it does show that he can organise a defence.
I watched the brief highlights on MOTD of Burnleys win at Southampton. To be honest it looked like they were lucky to win. It was all Southampton. But win they did.
We certainly need this type of win (luck) right now. But I'm under no illusions of the type of football we'd be playing under Dyche.
If we are going down the dire, grinding, drab anti-football route, Fat Sam is a much better bet than Dyche. Exactly the same attributes but far more experienced and a proven record. He's just more palatable than the loathsome corrupt turd that is Allardyce.
It would be a genuinely amazing achievement for Moshiri to take us back to early Moyes levels in the space of 18 months. A classic lesson in be careful what you wish for.
Zzzzzzz baseless commentOne thing with Dyche is that he built Burnley up much similar in Moyes when we were struggling annually.
Training ground, scouting etc.
He's done a great job and it's probably argued deserves a chance such as a job like ours.
My bet would be if he was coming from abroad then everyone would be fine.

What you've got to realise is that unfortunately many of our fans (and of other clubs) are crass, naive, short-sighted and incredibly flippant.
Is Dyche underwhelming? Yes, if you consider the grandeurs we're hoping for, but reality tells us that we are currently a long way off such heights.
Taking off the Blue tinted glasses, we're in a real mess and as such we unfortunately need to think realistically in the short to medium term.
In my humble opinion, Dyche has overall done a good job at Burnley over the years as shown by this season and some of the football they play.
He's not without limitations and there's concerns whether he can turn us around, yet he's well respected in footballing circles which shows merit.
Would I prefer someone like Ancelotti? Too right I would, however realistically there's currently no chance; similarly with Tuchel chances are low.
Others will disagree with my view and that's fine, but right now I'd be content with his appointment if it was part of a longer term plan to success.
What style would Dyche play if he came here? How can you be so sure how he would employ the greater resources of Everton?
He gave free rein to goal scorers of the calibre of Ings, Vokes and Gray in the Championship. And he can organise a defence too.
And he's got a good record of promotion from the Championship. Keep him in mind - he might be useful one day.
Two arguments I just don't get. Repeated all the time as well. If someone does a good job why do they 'deserve' a better one and why should it be EFC? You only deserve what someone is willing to give you. And his record would be no different if he were Portuguese or German. 50 goals in 50 games. Tight, dour football. Some people will just never want that.
Totally agree.
Why does he deserve a job with us? If any of the top 6 were in our position would he be deserving of a managers job there? Pulis will be sacked soon he deserves a chance at a big club will get a team to mid table
