We're all desperate for the next match I think.
Is this not you echoing Dyche saying the reason it wasn't working in the last season was down to his contract status?
Dyche blames the contract situation for the reason why results were bad as he claims the players weren't listening to him because there was no guaranteed long term future after that season for him. He's used that as his justification for why he was going an honourable thing quitting and asking for a pay off.
Can I have a link to this?

So players didn't down tools but they weren't listening to him?Does he mate yeah?
Again - not heard/seen that.
Not surprised to hear what?
?
Yeah - no 'gotcha' there I'm afraid. I still agree with all of that.
Players didn't down tools/give up - we didn't have a collapse - in his last 5, we drew with Arsenal and Man City away, and Chelsea in his last 5 - we get tonked in them games if they downed tools - as all season, we just couldn't win a game;

Not listening to someone, isn't the same as lack of effort. Not listening because no respect, but the effort can be there for the club.
TFG come in before Chelsea, after his first defeat / Forest, I was saying we had to get rid.
That's all besides the point - at that point after Forest, the manager was telling people his players weren't listening to him. That's his own view, but its a view that invites sacking.
Whether they were or weren't, none of us will know - but what I do know is major alarm bells if a manager is saying his team dont listen.
We seem to be missing some imput mate, what are you doing leaving the boss like this. he's like a lone wolf out there today..
So players didn't down tools but they weren't listening to him?
I'm not sure I understand that argument.

I'll leave it here.

Dyche fans are the strangest. Imagine Sean Dyche was the man you’d decided to relentlessly die on the hill of.
Really?
You don't have to listen to your boss, but you can still put 100% into your job.
Again though, I'm not saying they weren't listening to him because;
... what we do know is what the manager said, and how the players performed.
Do you have that link mate about Dyche pinning his sacking on his job? You've not made that up too have you?...
Dyche said after the defeat once TFG come in that the team don't listen/his methods no longer work - the team knew he was off in a few months no matter what.
Like this summer, the owners either have to back Moyes, or change him. You can't have a manager with months on his contract.
Which I had repeatedly given to you as your own post from earlier today.Ah of course you will. Coincidentally after I've asked a few times for the below source/link that I assumed I'd missed;
I'm going to assume you've proven my point about making things up again and the below was just made up;
Honestly, in near 20 years of running this forum I've never known someone just make things up as much as you. It's remarkable. It has me thinking I'm losing my marbles.
If I'm not listening to my boss then I'm not putting 100% into the job am I?
I do not have a link about Dyche pinning his sacking on his job. I was responding to this post you wrote here:
You said Dyche said this. It was brought up in response to a discussion about him getting sacked at Everton. It reads as though this is the explanation for why he asked for the sack.
If I've misinterpreted this let me know.
