Dyche is a safety first manager.
That is absolutely fine for our current situation .
However if ultimately we want to see a progressive , attacking team Dyche isn't your man.
He might be our man you can't say that he isnt as he has never worked with a true quality attacking squad of players from what i can see. Its always had to be safety football with his squads.
At some point in time any managers progression is thwarted by lack of investment in the squad or constantly selling your best players and not reinvesting. There is a ceiling that inthink only Leicter have ever broken, and now look at them. I think Dyche is doing a great job steadying this Everton ship and he probably has our squad working towards a mid table finish IMO. Hes not going to make us an attacking revelation without a really good recruitment stratergy and some different players. We have shown over the course of many years that recruitment strategy is not our thing and we are limited by that.
I mean a good example is
David Moyes' reign....was he limited as a manager or are Everton FC limiting him. I would say that it is EFC that are limiting our managers and currently mid table would be a fantastic achievement until things change within the club finacially and strategy wise.
