I don't know why the xG stat gets people riled up. It's just expected goals. It's obviously not as important as the scoreline but nobody who brings it up thinks that. It's generally a good indication of what team controlled the game, there'll of course be outliers. We seem to consistently be that this season. The fact we seem to be creating good chances and have still lost at home to Fulham, Wolves and Luton is obviously still a cause for concern whatever your opinion of xG is.

The bit in bold is the only important statistic. Every time we have played a relegation competitor at home we have lost. If that persists there is only one result.

Not at all. I want to win, i want Everton to do well, that is why i want him out. If i was happy only when we lose, then i would want Dyche to stay. Maybe you are only happy when we lose, since you want him to stay?

Sick of hearing nervousness we’re going to be after the last couple of near misses and constantly having to come from behind in games we need more than a few wins need to see we have half a clue about passing and creating and seeing games out something to get confident about instead of the garbage constantly served up

He is without doubt absolutely [Poor language removed] terrible, worse than Lampard. We are never going to have a consistent run of performances under him and the wins/draws will be hard to come by.
The tactics, the management, reading what the team needs when under pressure and probably not saying the right thing to light a fire in them before the game and at half time.
It’s just madness how he got the job in the first place and shows how far we have fallen. Need 777 to make a decision sooner than later.

No point in bringing it up. Watch the game. The team that scores the most wins, regardless of what the computer thinks. It could say we have an xG of 10 and no rational person would think we could score that much. It’s a nonsense thing to make people feel better about losing. “Well we could have scored 3 goals.” But we didn’t.
