Yeah that's what I mean really. Ancelotti is obviously a great manager in the right circumstances, but we didn't have those circumstances for him so it was a pretty stupid appointment. Dyche is pretty much the opposite, he's not a great manager and is probably unlikely to get us where we really want to be (as a fanbase I mean) but in the context of how the club is actually run and the situation we're in I think it's a fairly logical appointment.Ancelotti was the type of manager we need provided we had any money to spend. The way it happened though, we were skint. It was actually exciting to see a team built by him at Goodison, but he left overnight and then we saw why with the next 4 months worth of decisions, which he was probably privy to (and probably shocked by them also).
