Yeah mate he'll deserve a standing ovation maybe even a mural on the new ground to go celebrate the great achievement of not getting us relegated. Cos well errm.all those other managers of past years failed to do that.
I causing Walter Smith ,Walker, Fat bunglad, lampard and now the immortal Sean .
If you think Dyches tenure here is a remarkable story in this clubs history then Dave Shame on you for being such an apologetic accepter of every line blue bill fed the fans about us.
I think lampard , clearly a very limited manager , deserved some credit for reuniting an extremely damaged and divided club post RS . Im not sure every manager could have navigated it , although that’s more about personality than ability .
Although I was against the appointment I think when dyche came in we were in trouble and he did well holding together the mess and dragging us over the line , at that stage I was relatively hopefully . Last season with a poor squad and two deductions it would have been easy for us to go , but a combination of factors which includes poor promoted sides he got us over the line . Again probably gets a well done , although nothing to celebrate.
The fire fighting of two years only gets you so far though , speaking personally I expect more with this squad (full backs aside ) and it’ll take some dramatic improvement to get me singing his praises .
