Leadership, worst caption I’ve seen in 40yrs. Might have commitment, but Is shocking on the ball, can’t trap a bag of cement. His main tactic is run to halfway, stop because he’s lacks pace to go past anyone and passé the ball back. Every forward pass finds an opponent.

And he’s cost us a good few goals this year. With some shocking play
When rating s captain you do it on what type of captain he is, some lead by organisation and being a proper leader on the pitch in that regard - some lead by example (in other words work their ass off play well demand others do the same) Seamus is in that latter group, and sadly when your own game goes to crap and you're making mistake after mistake you lose all influence in the role. Same goes why Keane would always be an appalling captain choice as well.

Worrying thing is in our squad we don't have anyone who falls into the first category as a captain. And few who could be in the second really. (Maybe Pickford 'possibly')

Think Patterson comes in once we get clear of the drop zone. Injuries at the back and the new LB looking like he needs time to settle down means Coleman is needed.

Think he's been a class servent and captain, but feels like his swansong this season.

Been a great servant, and can't take that away from him.

But getting a little tired of some of the [Poor language removed] he's pulling during a match on a frequent basis that is putting us under pressure, or leading to goals conceded. That pass across the face to Pickford being the latest example.

He's being targeted by opposition managers, and the constant pressure he is under is (in my opinion) a catalyst for these errors.
