At his peak one of the best right backs about and he’s gone on to be everything you’d want from the captain of your football club.

Hope he stays as a coach and we can see him and Bainesy lift a trophy next season.

Leaves Pickford as just about the only player I have any liking for in this squad.

There have been a number of Everton players who have retired here over the last decade or so and I have been so angry knowing they deserved to see Everton win a trophy, Jags and Baines being the last two, well we can add Seamus to the list now.

Pickford is probably going to be next one, the only one I think yes you deserve to be in an Everton team that wins something.

I love Richarlison, and he deserves our love for playing when injured and scoring important goals to keep us in the league but he's not at the same level of the names above.

I can only hope that the 1878s have been given notice of this. He's the only current player who is fully deserving of a dedicated TIFO at our last home game of our first season in a new era.

Fair play to the lad, he was great for 10 years then injuries and the inevitable age decline got him.

He did well signing for us as I think any other club would have got rid of him a long time ago. Hopefully, he’s a good coach and we haven’t just kept him on for sentimental reasons.

Seamus deserved to be part of ending 1995 but this club let him down with us. Pickford will be next if we don't start demanding more.
