Dortmund result aside, newco have been very fortunate in Europe this season.

Scraped through the group stage on 8 points (lowest tally in the competition) in a group containing Brondby and Sparta Prague. Fair enough they had a few great results vs Dortmund, can't deny them that. But then drew Red Star who missed a bucket load of chances in both games along with McGregor turning into a demon goalkeeper pulling off incredible saves including penalties. That's without mentioning some objectively ridiculous decisions in that first leg. The aggregate scoreline flattered them let's be honest.

Now they've drawn easily the weakest team in the competition again. It's an unnatural amount of luck to carry this far into the competition.

Hahahahaha
You do know we qualified in a group where the team 3rd beat Celtic 8-2 over two games the year before?

Lucky my back side. Your post just screams jealousy and makes this campaign even better than it already is. Keep it coming.

People need to learn how football works tbh. See if I hear one more time Celtic got more points in the group stages
End of Matchday 5

Rangers 7 points. Qualified
Celtic 6 points. Out on their arse

Matchday 6

Absolutely irrelevant. Both games mean not a thing.

Coefficient points and prize money from the results in the group stages are near identical

2 wins 2 draws = 6 coefficient points.€2.3m (inclusive of 2nd place bonus)

3 wins = 6 coefficient points €1.8m
