Good team, they’ll be right up for it, and they’ve got nothing to lose, that’s your big concern.

All the pressure now heads to you guys for the first time in these knockouts, but what a trip, and I can honestly say hope you do it, go far because as long as you’re British (and not Liverpool or West Ham Newcastle etc) then why not go all the way.

Great trip, mid April dirt cheap pints, I’m honestly jealous.

The days of dirt cheap pints are behind me but not been away since we last played them..... I am tempted.

Remember the home leg the last time we played Braga 60 mins in I though they had us dead and buried they could of been 3 or 4 up that night.

I hate them ,
But they've done well this year.
Can't take that away from them.
They've a decent draw ,and two reasonable wins could put them in the final.
As an aside, remember when leeds should've hammered them,different times,I know.

If any credit is due it has to go to Eddie Munster for handing them back a team that doesn't just collapse. Van Bronckhorst is riding the coat tails of that and Sevco's experience in Europe they built up under Munster.


Still, they are utter tripe in European terms and wont get a sniff of that trophy...their run will just hand Celtic the SPL as they become bogged down in fixtures and travel.

Tripe? Surely you must mean the other team in Glasgow? As someone pointed out, they haven't won a knockout game in Europe in a long, long time. Imagine being so bitter you can't even recognise a good couple of results when you see them.

Yeah was at the back of G5 that night and remember everyone thinking we had blew it!... untill Hagi and Aribo stepped in!!
Prefer to remember the last 30 mins, the atmosphere was incredible!
we missed a few chances that night as well(Alfie in particular?) and we did beat Braga in Portugal!

What a draw for Rangers there.

April in Portugal and if they defend well, they’ve got a European Semi final to look forward which is a very good achievement for a Scottish club, even if the Celts don’t agree.

I think they would agree, but they just won't admit it in public. The quarter finals was my pass mark as such. Anything else after that, will be very much bonus territory!
